As the number of lives lost in Israel reaches over 900, with at least 100 still in captivity, here are ways to pray:
For Jesus to be among the captives, that they would be safe from harm, and to be set free.
For Israeli citizens and soldiers to have complete and miraculous protection as Hamas and Islamic Jihad continue attacks.
For the innocents in Gaza to be protected from increasing Israeli airstrikes and possible ground incursion.
For Israel’s attacks on all enemies to be effective and accurate.
For healing and strength for the families and communities in Southern Israeli that were devastated by the Hamas invasion.
For provision to the cities and communities (including Jerusalem) that are preparing for up to three days without any water or electricity.
For Hezbollah to be dissuaded from joining the fight in the North.
For the spiritual powers orchestrating Hamas and the other terrorists involved to be dismantled.
For the Body of Messiah in Israel to have increased wisdom and strength to release the Kingdom of God to Israel, Gaza, and Jude and Samaria (the West Bank) alike.
For the love of God to enter into the hearts and lives of Israelis and Gazans in radically transformative ways.
Poignant Scriptures we have been praying from recently are Joshua 1, Psalm 91 & 105, Joel 2, Amos 9, Zechariah 2 & 8, and Ephesians 6.
